BONFIRES
After a busy day or just as a wind-down from a day of fun, a bonfire is a classic way to bring people together. With a bonfire pit near the recreation field, enjoy the calming effects of a crackling fire at the end of a satisfying day.
Swimming
Our 700' of Dixon Lake frontage will lure you from the moment you arrive. And let's not forget about our Michigan mitten-shaped pool. Both, perfect spots to cool off after a day of activity.
Shuffleboard
This original court from back in the El Rancho days still brings good ol’ fashioned fun to the property. All the equipment is provided and ready for a friendly match or two. The court has also served well as a stage for musicians performing to the guests on the lawn and patio!
Boating
Dixon Lake is an 80 acre all-sports lake. With boat access nearby, you can be out on the water in no time for some loops on your water skis, jet skis or an evening sunset cruise. Some guests prefer to bring their own kayaks or paddle boards for the pristine and joyful lakeside experience.

Take a look around on a peaceful walk through the Sojourn grounds. Enjoy the fresh air and experience the natural beauty of your surroundings.
Social Hour
Casual gathering spaces are abundant at Sojourn. Create your own bar in the Sandbar Lounge, enjoy cocktails on the patio or host happy hour in the Hospitality Room. You may choose to spend time connecting on the expansive Lakeview Lodge decks or on the beautiful Reflective Garden patio.
Yoga
Morning yoga on the beach or a sunset session on the decks will surely have you feeling grounded and centered.
Sports & Games
Our recreation field is just steps away from the guest rooms of Whispering Pines. Enjoy an impromptu game of horseshoes or gather your group for a coordinated game of softball. Whatever your choose, get ready for fun.
